Ravinia - Summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and frequently featuring the Chicago Symphony Chorus. One of the most popular performance venues in Lake County, featuring a wide range of classical and contemporary music performances almost every evening during the summer. (Kid's program, too!)

Chicago Master Singers (CMS) -
Founded in 1979, its formation was motivated by a desire to give auditioned singers an opportunity to perform large-scale choral works with professional soloists and orchestra in concerts in northwest suburban Chicago communities to audiences outside the cultural center of the city.
Camerata Singers of Lake Forest -
A 16-voice chamber choir, performing a repertoire spanning centuries and encompassing Classical to Broadway and beyond. The innovative programs feature choral works, chamber works and solos.
Coriolis Chamber Choir -
A 14-voice group formed in 1987 to provide an opportunity to sing challenging a cappella compositions. its repertoire extends from 16th century madrigals and sacred music to premieres of 20th and 21st century classical compositions.
Choir of Lake County - Affiliated with the College of Lake County and open to members of the community. Performs in Grayslake at the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts. Fall, Christmas, and Spring concerts every year, plus periodic special opportunities (like last year's performance in Carnegie Hall).
Waukegan Symphony Concert Chorus - Established as a community chorus in 1976, it continues as an independent sister organization to the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra (both affiliated with the Waukegan Park District).
All Village Singers - Open to those 18 and older, this group of about 35 singers is affiliated with the Glencoe Park District. Music tends towards four-part harmony.
Antioch Community Chorus - Sponsored by Festival Arts of Antioch. Presents periodic concerts throughout the year, including an annual performance of Handel's Messiah. For more info, call Ken Smouse,

BG Singers - Affiliated with the Buffalo Grove Park District . This year marks the 15th anniversary of the BG Singers. Each year the group directs their fundraising and community awareness efforts toward a different worthy cause.
Lake Zurich Village Singers - Celebrating 10 years, this group is sponsored by the Lake Zurich Park and Recreation Department.
Viking Park Community Chorus -

Choral Dynamics - Based in Mundelein, this community chorus open to all ages from ninth grade through adult.

University of Wisconsin (Parkside) - Based just north of the border in Kenosha, UW-Parkside features an active music program with several choirs. The program also hosts the UW "Master Singers" Choir, which is open to members of the community.
