(Feb 25, 2008) WALLS, "a sci-fi series for the stage" will hold auditions for characters between ages 15-21 on Saturday Mar 01 from 12-4PM, with a Reading of Episodes One and Two on Sunday Mar 16 at 2PM. Written by local Playwright Madelyn Sergel, the series also features non-speaking roles for athletes, skateboarders, and those into martial arts/stage combat. No official score was created to accompany this 1927 suspense film, the third directed by Hitchcock. (April 11, 2007) The Red Rose Children's Choir of Lake County presents its Spring Concert on Saturday Apr 14 at 3PM and 6PM at 1st Presbyterian Church of Libertyville. Themed "Singen Mit Freude" (which translates to "Sing with Joy"), the two free performances will have a European repertoire, feature songs about nature, and showcase different ensembles.
(April 09, 2007) The Ravinia Festival has revised its summer schedule, due to the threat of serious "distraction" from the major Cicada hatching expected this year.
